The 17/18 season was quite successful for City. They finished top of the Premier League getting a record breaking 100 points, 19 points more than second place Manchester United.
Despite losing to Wigan Athletic in the fifth round of the FA Cup, they won the League Cup, beating Arsenal 3-0 in the final.
They lost to finalists Liverpool in the quarter finals of the Champions League.
