Story:
This, I think is my favourite one of the lot. Launched on the 120th anniversary, this shirt had no sponsor but the year the club was founded. I couldn’t buy one on launch but waited. The only ones they had left were in size small so I had no choice but to buy it in this size.
In the 2018-19 season, Torquay finished 1st in the National League South. This was after 6 years of poor performance which saw them fall from League Two playoff final where Paul Buckle managed his last game, to relegation from the National League.
Their 2019-2020 season was spend establishing themselves as a National League team before Gary Johnson but, due to COVID-19, the season was abandoned.
